All data is encrypted with zero-knowledge AES-GCM encryption — not even our developers can access your photos. Your encryption key never leaves your device. Only you can decrypt your library.
DaemonClient Photos uses Telegram's infrastructure and Cloudflare's free tier as the backend. You set up a private Telegram channel, a Telegram bot, and a Cloudflare Worker with a D1 database. Your media lives in Telegram's servers (virtually unlimited storage per channel), and Cloudflare handles the API layer — both completely free, no credit card required.
Yes. Every line of code that handles your photos is publicly available on GitHub. You can audit it, fork it, or self-host it entirely without any involvement from us.
Not much. Our step-by-step setup guide uses copy-paste commands and a browser-based dashboard for the Cloudflare and Telegram configuration. Most users are fully set up in under 15 minutes.
